A Day of Mourning (HFH below)

It's a somber day today. 7 years. Went so fast. Like most people, I'll never forget where I was that day and what I was doing. Living in New York, working in news. Today, like every year, my friends, my coworkers from then and I will reconnect. Tell each other how much we love and miss each other, and remember.

My heart is heavy for the loved ones, the heroes, lost on September 11.

  1. It's a solemn day for the country. We all remember. I read your post of where you were. My thoughts are with you and all people affected by the tragedy.

  2. Gorgeous graphic. I'll be over to re-read your post from last year again. All morning I keep being in awe that it can still hurt so much and still be so unfathomable. And I didn't even lose anyone I knew. That I really can't imagine, but I hope that they can find some peace, somewhere, somehow.

  5. Honestly, I do not want to really think about that day. But, I still remember walking into working saying, this is the most beautiful blue sky of the year.
