I don't want to spill the beans, but my scale is treating me nicely this week. I'm excited about tomorrow's weigh-in. Actually excited! I've been working hard, despite said stomach bug. Last night, my husband actually called me an "ice cream spoiler" because he was having cravings and I think he was on the verge of actually leaving the house to procure something naughty but I put it out of my head completely and ignored this. WWBD. RIGHT?

Tonight I will run my last run before Saturday's 5k in Atlanta, my best friend's "Couch to 5k" graduation. Have I told you what an amazing program C25K is? I did it earlier this year and "graduated" in June and now I'm doing Hal Higdon's 10K training program. How's everyone today?

  1. Good job skipping the ice cream!! That isn't an easy thing to do.

    I am not sure how this week will pan out as I had 3 nights with b-day dinners and one night of celebrating. I made good food choices when I went out but the portions were big. One more day of badness to get through and then it is time for the crackdown. Monday is the day I will be in it 100%. Seeing all of your focus is definitely motivating!!

    I have high expectations for tomorrow's weigh-in as well. I think I almost LIKE going to the gym! Don't tell anyone though. ;o)

  3. I don't have a desire to run a marathon.
    But for some reason I have a desire to be part of bloomsday which is the first Sat or Sun in Spokane Washington.

    Well I lost 3 pounds and more about my weight lost and even inches lost over at my blog.

    Oh I'm ice cream fan. Yes one of my weekness.
    But I have to say I now eat out of a 6oz cup only on Sunday.

  4. I am excited about tomorrow! I have been sick (flu) all week so I know that since I haven't done really much of anything that this is the reason that the scale is going to be my BFF! : )

    Although I will say that since I have been sick my appetite is way down which I think has in turn been good for me in the long run. Yay!! Ice cream...I had some last night...But it was Blue Bunny Sugar Free. It tasted well, ok. It wasn't the best in the world, but it felt good to my throat! I can't wait to see what everyone has done!!

  5. I've been so busy worrying about Monday's weigh in that I totally forgot about tomorrow! Augh! It's going to be a gain, I know it. This has been a BAD week. I'm going to be that girl. Dang it :)

  6. Great job not giving in for ice cream! I have been to the YMCA twice this week and did 40-minute interval workouts on the treadmill. I couldn't drag myself there today because I was dead tired and my RA is acting up in my feet again. I will go tomorrow, I just had to take a break today.

    I went a little off plan today, but I'm OK with my reasons, and I'm still on track, the caboose just kind of jiggled a little. ;)
