Everyone who has been part of the Hot for the Holidays Challenge, no matter how long or short, everyone, gets a baby blue silicone bracelet that says "Strength, Focus, Discipline" on it. I wore it today during my workout and when I couldn't push one more rep on the shoulder machine, I looked down at my wrist and found the last little bit of whatever it was I had in me and got it out. I love it. All you have to do is e-mail me your snail mail address and I will get it out to you! christieo_7 at msn dot com.

And all I have to say is wow for this: There is actually a 20 Pound Club going on here!!
PUBSGAL who is the biggest loser of the challenge with 24 POUNDS!!!
And SPARKS who lost 20.4 pounds!! That's amazing you guys!! A little bling for you.

Thank you. I've said it a million and a half times, thank you. I'm so proud of myself and I'm so proud of you for committing to be healthier in our lives. Thank you to all of our sponsors, and if you haven't gone and visited them yet, please do. I hope everyone has a blessed holiday season and feels hotter than hot at your holiday parties this year!!

Anyway, I hate goodbyes, so I'm not gonna say it. In fact, I don't want to lose momentum and I don't want you to either. So if you're with me on the next challenge, I'm posting it tonight at midnight so we can get started right away. Won't you join me on my "Quest for Greatness" ??

Let's take over the world...

  1. Long story short... my husband went hunting last week and me being me tried to fix our computer problems... made them worse!!! I am on our dinosaur desktop right now ugh.... Anyway, then while he was gone I somehow managed to possible tear the mieniscus in my right knee... needless to say there has been no running for me!!! I did get on the elliptical three days this week and it was somewhat bareable!!! Sorry I couldn't weigh in the last two Friday's... just know that it has been killing not to be able to and to top it off my internet connection and knee suck!!! Congrats to all the ladies for their hard work... and knee permiting I will be watching for the next challenge because even though I lost 15 pounds with this one I need to lose about 6 or 7more!!! Wish me luck!!!!

  4. 474.5 collective pounds gone! We rock. Coming every week to report my loss (or gain) was very motivating!

  5. Christie,
Hey there...thanks so much for always sponsoring this "self-improvement stuff"...you rock! I am also a member of the 20 pound club. I have lost 20 lbs since August 16, 2008. I am going to take the 20 pound badge you posted later and post it instead of all the different ones I put on my page to equal 20 pounds. I am so glad that there were some other 20 lb losers also. Losing 20 pounds is a decent loss...makes a difference in clothing size and fit! Speaking of goals, I am so in for the next challenge! I mentioned in my final HFTH post that scheduling exercise HAD to be my next challege....I like the idea of finding something to train for. I need to look into what is available. Good eating will only get me so far on this journey towards better health. I want the whole package! No smoking, good eating, exercise and fitness etc. Thanks for all the motivation!
    Peace,
    Diva
