Well I called it a "top secret spy mission" but really, we were out of town this weekend visiting my little Goddaughter, Maddie, for her Christening in Quantico, VA.
Isn't she gorgeous??? (I'm not biased at all.) We had a wonderful time and I can't wait to write about it because I learned a lot about flying with two children on a weekend where you lose an hour. And I've decided to write about it in three parts, beginning the tale with a helpful checklist for mommies trying to fly with two toddlers (one of which is potty training) and I'll be asking for some advice which I should have done eons ago. And I'll follow it up with a post about things I learned about my family this weekend, primarily of which is that we can really really have a good time together, in good times and in bad (a tale of lost keys, a bonfire and some vodka.) And I'll follow it up with some picture-taking (because I was an obsessed picture taker), but we went to the Marine museum and there a great picture was born that I'd like to call "Little Man, Big Plane" and we also found the one patch of snow left in Virginia and got to play in it.
But for now, the market may be at an all-time low but I bet you'll make some money if you invest in some Puffs Plus with Vicks because yep! We're sick. Me and the Mini. (And my dad...)
Can I just tell you how wonderful Puffs Plus with Vicks is? Clears me out every time...(a little TMI for you, but what would I be if I weren't honest here?)
