He spent 9 days in the NICU.
It was really rough.
But you'd never know that now!
He's the captain of our team.
Saturday, we walk for him and for millions of other little babies who were born too soon. It's ironic for me that the March of Dimes March for Babies walk coincides almost exactly to his birthday. Last year, when he turned one, I was still healing from my own emotional wounds of his being born early. The walk helped me heal and it will every year. We're about halfway to our goal and there's three days left. If you want to sponsor us, you can hit the button below and it'll take you straight to our team page. We would be so grateful! And to those of you who have already, a huge thank you and hugs and kisses.
Hi, just wanted to say thanks for this - keeps me inspired - I walk every year myself - raised over $1,300 this year. I tried to do a contest for it on my review site but it bombed. Oh well, my friends and family came through. I'll be walking this Sunday too!
ReplyDeleteAw, awesome post. I'm so glad that your little guy is thriving. I can't imagine how scary it must have been for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch for your kind comment on my blog and adding me to yours, too. That made my day.
Have fun on the walk. It's amazing to see Aidan's transformation!
