I'm actually starting to workout this week! I'm totally psyched! I know, I know, I should have been doing this all along...which would explain why I have been going up and down, only to end up back at zero :)
Since getting a typical workout can be difficult for me due to physical limitations, I've taken a new approach. Working out on the Wii Fit doesn't feel like a difficult workout because it's so much fun. I see the scale starting to creep down little by little.
Ok, I had a bad craving for Chinese food and ended up ordering some Yang Chow friend rice (Chicken, bbq pork and shrimp) can you say greasy and fattening? I must say it was really good and then I really could taste the oil and knew I was eating something fried. I am back on plan today. Diva
So far, so good...if all holds steady, I'll be putting that 5 Pounds Gone badge on my blog on Friday! :-)
I've been exercising more--added a 30-minute lunchtime walk in addition to morning workout, because I've only been getting in a 30 minute run in the mornings instead of the 45-50 minutes I was logging in the summertime. Food-wise, pretty much on track, even with cheesecake at the company party on Friday, my husband baking brownies on Saturday, and my daughter bringing home apple pie they made at her preschool yesterday. I had little tastes of each to prevent feeling deprived, and adjusted my other carb intake to compensate.
I think I'm doing really good. I weighed in this morning and was down 1.8 from Friday. The last couple of days I have been so busy with work and everything that I haven't really been eating alot. My cravings have also been down this week which has helped.
Ok, so I know I'm commenting again, I hope that's ok. I'm feeling better this week so I went to danza rehearsal, we are Aztec dancers. And I sweat in places that I had forgotten could sweat. It's not cute, but it's helpful in terms of the goal of being Hot for the Holidays.
